Hey Internet, I don’t usually ask for too much from you - but I was wondering if you could do me a small favor? I entered my ‘Create Cutlery’ project into the Make: Tag Your Green contest and I would really appreciate it if you’d take a second (seriously, one or two seconds) just to click 'vote'. For more about this project, you can go to my website.
You can only vote for a particular project once, but you can vote for as many projects as you like! If you don’t like my project, feel free to take a look at the other ones and vote for whoever. A Georgia Tech alumn and friend, Karen MacKay, has her Vertical Theory project entered, too - you can vote for her here.
I very much recommend! It’s a bar-restaurant complete with bocce ball and darts and what have you. The prices are really reasonable (a prime rib entree for $14!), the atmosphere is really nice (sort of dark, full of people talking, wood, leather, etc.)
I split an order of the handmade fries with homemade cheese wiz and pot roast gravy as our sauces, a corn dog (cut into 4 pieces and individually fried), and a cup of chili con carne. Deliciously juvenile food for adults!
“Keep in mind a Zen parable that tells of a traveler on a road who came up on a river with a washed out bridge. So he built himself a raft which carried him safely to the other side. “This is a good raft” he thought, “If I come to another river, I can use it.” So he carried it on his back with him for the rest of his life. How long do we hold onto something that’s no longer useful?”—food 4 thought
